South: If you’re looking for a bit of good ol’ fashioned home-cooking, South offers delicious and traditional family food for ya’ll Southerners at heart. Shady Lady Saloon: Treat yourself at the Shady Lady Saloon, voted top 25 “Best Bars in America” by Esquire. In the Sacramento region alone, there are over 30 theaters, museums and more entertainment opportunities such as, the California Musical Theater which hosts Broadway touring companies whenever they find themselves in the area. Visit the Zoos. The

SACRAMENTO SPORTS
You’ve heard of Sacramento’s NBA team, the Sacramento Kings but did you know that California is also home to a few minor league teams as well? From basketball to soccer, let’s discover a few of our local teams:
Sacramento Kings: After leaving Kansas City in 1985, The Kings made their home in Sacramento, CA and even without a championship win under their belt, the Kings have a devoted fan-base of followers who still “bleed purple”.
River Cats: The River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL). Two-time winners of a Triple-A Championship, the River Cats also boast an impressive 11 wins for the PCL South Division Championships! Next time you’re in town, feel free to check them out at Raley Field.
Republic FC: This United Soccer League (USL) team may be new to the area since its inception in 2014, but soccer fans from all over the city come together to show their support for their local team. A USL championship winner during their inaugural year, Republic FC also holds the title as the 2016 Western Conference Regular Season Champions!
